Washington Winter Show 2023

The Wagner Society of Washington DC congratulates the Washington Winter Show on its 67-year track record of supporting health and education programs for under served and at-risk children and families. The Wagner Society promotes the study and enjoyment of the operas of Richard Wagner by offering its members: • The opportunity to purchase tickets to Bayreuth, the annual summer festival of Wagner operas in his hometown in Bavaria; • A weekend seminar each June, Wagner in der Wildnis, that focuses on a specific Wagner opera or theme; • Recitals by singers from the American Wagner Project, the Society’s program to promote the careers of American singers with potential to perform the Wagner canon; • Concerts by the Wagner Society Chamber Players, an ensemble of performers from the National Symphony Orchestra; • Monthly lectures and interviews with experts, including Alex Ross and Saul Lilienstein, and artists such as Heldentenor Ben Heppner; To become a member, or to join the Society’s email list, please visit it’s website, www.wagner-dc.org.
